    Grand Football Day

    Grand Football Day

Quality village football built from the ground up: ŠK Čierne lived a great football day. On Saturday, June 6, an event took place at the stadium in Čierne, showcasing in full beauty what a true connection of community, sports enthusiasm, and systematic youth work looks like. The day-long marathon of matches and side events had a clear goal – to strengthen the football squad and connect people whose hearts beat for the shared club. The football program kicked off in the morning hours when youth categories U15 and U13 took to the field. Their league matches were replaced by emotional games where parents measured their strength against their own children. In the afternoon came the important senior A-team match against Belá, and the final duel of the old boys provided a great conclusion to the whole day. However, the meaning of this day went far beyond the results on the scoreboard. Currently, 85 children are training under the youth banner in the village. The club's philosophy in Čierne is based on the idea that youth must be worked with comprehensively. The goal of the coaches and management is not just to raise good football players, but to shape children into people of character who will be a real contribution to society and their surroundings in the future. The audience turnout proved that this vision works. Many parents, grandparents, and whole families came to cheer for our young footballers. The character of the event was also highlighted by the fact that the parents of the players themselves provided refreshments and delicious food for all visitors, voluntarily helping out.A very important and emotional part of the day was expressing thanks to the people who shaped generations of footballers in the village. The club officially thanked current as well as former coaches who worked in Čierne u Čadce in the past and left an indelible mark here. These awards were presented to them by a native of Čierne – Pavol Staňo, a former successful league player and currently the head coach of the first-league MŠK Žilina. His presence was a huge motivation for the young talents.A big thank you goes to all parents, volunteers, sponsors, and partners who contributed financially, materially, or through their work to ensure this event turned out to a high standard. It showed what great strength a club has when it sticks together like one family. In Čierne, it was confirmed again that honest village football makes sense when it is built on solid foundations – from the youngest ones. Photo: Richard Novák.
